The Entrepreneur Paradox

I am fortunate to be the son of an entrepreneur and work with many others who are building ideas into companies. The mindset of an entrepreneur fascinates me; it’s complex and paradoxical. For many, their inner dialogue sounds something like this:

“I believe I can do this.” And… “I believe this will all go away tomorrow.”

It’s a brutal mental game of ping-pong. And yet, that ping-pong might be exactly what’s needed to survive and ideally thrive. Not all ideal mindsets are clean. In fact, most are messy. The Entrepreneur Paradox is a good example of how fear and fearlessness, optimism and pessimism, and belief and doubt can be helpful if used in the right way.

Entrepreneurs’ insecurity ensures that they stay focused and their dreamy belief allows them to see a path that others can’t.

How can you leverage the Entrepreneur Paradox to help you get to where you want to go?
